HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We are currently fulfilling orders within 1-2 business days, plus delivery time, which will vary based on your selected shipping method. For questions about your order status, contact your Origami Owl® Independent Designer. You can reach her from 9AM PST until 6PM PST

HOW DO I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

Unfortunately we are unable to make modifications to orders once they have been placed. If you put an invalid address, your order will ship to that address and be returned to the warehouse. A new shipment will have to be generated and additional ship charges will apply.

At Origami Owl®, we value your privacy. It is our policy never to sell, rent, barter or trade personal information with any third parties.

MAY I STILL ORDER IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?


At this time, Origami Owl® only accepts orders within the fifty (50) United States, and APO/FPO. Ensuing May 5th, 2014, Origami Owl will also ship to Puerto Rico. Origami Owl only offers Standard shipping to domestic P.O. Boxes, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO Military addresses. For your protection, we will not ship merchandise if we are unable to verify your billing address.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER STATUS?


You will receive an e-mail containing your tracking number once your order ships. If you have questions regarding the shipment of your order, please contact your Origami Owl® Independent Designer. You can reach her from 9AM PST until 6PM PST

WHAT COULD DELAY MY ORDER?

During periods of increased demand, including during holidays or new product launches, you may experience a delay in the shipment of your order. We strive to ship available items within ten business days of order submission. Please allow additional time for shipping, based on your preferred selected shipping method.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?


We strive for excellence in every area of our business. If you are not completely head over heels in love with your new Origami Owl jewelry, you can exchange any unworn items through your Origami Owl Independent Designer. Below are the specific guidelines for returns and exchanges.

Within 30 Days

To return an item or receive a refund, you must contact your Origami Owl® Designer to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number prior to sending back product. All product(s) with the exception of products that have a manufacturer's defect must be received by Origami Owl's Returns Department within thirty (30) days of the order receipt (delivery date). A ten percent (10%) restocking fee will be deducted from all returned product orders with the exception of damaged products and products that have a manufacturers defect. Shipping charges incurred by Independent Designers and/or Customers when purchasing or returning products will not be refunded.

Note: damaged products and products that have a manufacturers defect must be reported to Designer Care Department to receive an RMA within sixty (60) days of receipt (delivery date), and must be received by Origami Owl's Returns Department within ninety (90) days of the order receipt (delivery date).

Within 90 Days

In the rare case your Origami Owl® jewelry has a manufacturer’s defect, you can choose to return the item for exchange or refund, less the cost of shipping and handling. All return requests must be reported to The Nest within 90 days of shipment, and received at the Origami Owl Returns Center within an additional 7 days.

Examples of manufacturer defect:

  • Non-functional clasp
  • Abnormal discolorations (beyond normal variations in natural stone colors or tarnishing from wear or time)
  • Jump ring or chain link that is not closed properly
  • Different from described length
  • Epoxy (adhesive - glass or crystals are loose)

More on the return Policy:
  • Item received different than what was ordered - Replacement with correct item Within 14 calendar days of Original Ship Date
  • Item missing from order shipment -  Replacement with original item Within 7 calendar days of the date the order was received
  • Item arrived damaged (manufacture defect) - Replacement with same item Within 90 calendar days of Original Ship Date
  • Item is defective, or breaks with minimal wear - Replacement with same item Within 90 calendar days of Original Ship Date
  • Wrong Size - Exchange for correct size Within 30 calendar days of Original Ship Date
  • Unhappy with design or color -  Refund Within 30 calendar days of Original Ship Date (a 10% restocking fee may apply) or  Exchange for different item Within 30 calendar days of Original Ship Date
  • Cancel a Backordered Item -  Refund Anytime, as long as the item is still in Backorder status (not shipped or processing)
  • Cancel an order - Anytime, as long as the order has not shipped or been processed. If the order has been processed order shipped, a 10% restocking fee may apply. Designer Care is not able to make any changes to an Order after it is placed. Order must be sent back for refund.

This warranty does not cover merchandise damaged through normal wear, accident or misuse (wearing in water, etc.). Upon receipt of your order, please check it carefully for accuracy. To exchange an item purchased directly from an Origami Owl® Independent Designer, please contact them directly.

Please note, exchanges must include a copy of the original invoice and be in its original unused condition.


DEFECTIVE or DAMAGED ITEMS:

Items that are received damaged in transit, break prior to wearing or have a manufacturing defect and are reported to the Origami Owl® Returns Center by an Independent Designer within 90 days of shipment are eligible for exchange. Please contact your Origami Owl Independent Designer for handling the exchange of damaged or incorrect items.

Replacements will be processed upon our receipt of the defective item.

Returns & Exchanges must include a copy of the ORDER #, Designer Name, original invoice along with any original tags or packaging.

Replacement items ship free to customers at Origami Owl's expense.


ORIGAMI OWL® JEWELRY

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ORIGAMI OWL® JEWELRY?


Handle with care: The glass on your Living Lockets® is fragile + can break. Handle with grace + caution.

Avoid water: Always remove your jewelry before entering water. Living Lockets are not waterproof.

Polish: Our jewelry is made with real metals + will naturally tarnish with time. To keep it looking as good as new, gently run all pieces with dry polishing cloth in a circular motion until shine is restored.

Remove: Take off your jewelry when using harsh chemicals, applying beauty products or entering extreme heat or cold.

CAN A DESIGNER BE A HOST?

You sure can! However, hostess rewards are reserved to incentivize individuals that are not Independent Designers to host a jewelry party and are not intended for Active Designers.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING AN ORIGAMI OWL® DESIGNER?


As an Origami Owl® Designer, you have the opportunity to increase friendships, to earn a competitive income + to develop professionally. The basic requirements of becoming an Origami Owl® Designer are as follows:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a permanent resident of the United States and have a valid Social Security number or Federal Taxpayer Identification number
  • Not be in jail or prison or otherwise confined to a correctional institution
  • Complete and submit a Designer Agreement that is accepted by Origami Owl (Origami Owl reserves the right to accept or reject a Designer Agreement at its sole discretion)
  • Purchase an Origami Owl Business Package (note: the purchase of a Business Package is optional for residents of North Dakota)
  • Have a valid email address; and
  • Have a valid credit card

HOW DO I PURCHASE JEWELRY?

Designers may order any variety of jewelry products from our collections at 30-50% off retail through their Origami Owl® Back Office


HOW DO I GENERATE INCOME?


Independent Designers may grow flourishing businesses by selling Origami Owl®'s line of customizable jewelry at in-home Jewelry Bars®, events, through their personalized e-commerce website, as well as by mentoring others on how to share Origami Owl®'s unique jewelry experience. We offer a very special, customizable product + the opportunity to earn money in a career that's fun + flexible.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I EXPECT TO EARN AS AN ORIGAMI OWL® DESIGNER?


The best part of a career with Origami Owl® is that there are so many ways to be successful! The amount of money you may make as an Independent Designer with Origami Owl® will depend upon many factors including your personal goals + the amount of time + effort you choose to invest in your business. As a Designer, you determine how many hours you would like to work. Many Independent Designers operate their businesses on a part-time basis with the goal of meeting short-term financial goals. Others elect to build their own business to the extent that they are able to leave their current job and focus their full attention to building their Origami Owl® Business full time. Our Career Plan is designed to provide the correct path for success and incentives that will compensate you.

HOW MUCH INVENTORY DO I NEED TO PURCHASE AS AN ORIGAMI OWL® DESIGNER?


The first thing to remember is that purchasing inventory is an individual decision and it's certainly not a requirement for you to begin your Origami Owl® Business. We always recommend that you determine what activity level you intend to pursue in your new venture and then, if appropriate for your personal circumstances, invest in a level of inventory that supports that activity. As you contemplate your decision, you may want to consider some of the reasons why Origami Owl® believes in maintaining an appropriate amount of inventory is beneficial. Our Designers enjoy providing customers with jewelry on the spot, which instantly pleases customers and also provides instant cash flow. We also believe that having inventory on hand could help an Independent Designer feel more motivated and committed to her Origami Owl® business.

Origami Owl® provides a multitude of Company-published materials available that contain excellent tips aimed at helping your business be a success. You also have the opportunity to ask other successful Independent Designers, such as your personal Mentor, for tips and advice on selling Origami Owl® Custom Jewelry.

HOW OFTEN DOES ORIGAMI OWL® INTRODUCE NEW PRODUCTS?


In a marketplace driven by innovation, it is critical to stay competitive by introducing new products. Origami Owl® is always innovating new products in order to keep up with current trends. Limited-edition items are introduced periodically and our one-of-a-kind collections will always evolve and be at the forefront of our brand. Our custom jewelry will always focus on being personal and unique to the individual.

We occasionally will update our packaging to keep our presentation current and fresh. Remember that we're in the fashion business. Fashion is always changing and different styles are being created. Fresh new innovations in jewelry and unique one-of-a-kind pieces will always have a special place in our hearts and the hearts of our Designers.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

    1. Go to JOIN OUR TEAM Complete a DESIGNER Agreement online. Please use Mentor ID #2904
    2. Pick your Business Kit.
    3. Anticipate the arrival of your Business Launch Package.
    4. Kick off your new profession as an Origami Owl® Designer by holding your first Origami Owl® Jewelry Bar™!
  2. How will I get paid?
    1. Designers have the opportunity to sell products and instantly keep the profits. For commission payments and orders from the Designers e-commerce website, the Designer’s commission payments will be paid directly to a PayQuicker account, which the Designer sets up when he or she enrolls. Commissions are paid weekly and monthly (depending on the type of payment).
  3. Can I transfer or sell my Origami Owl® Independent Designer Business?
    1. The agreement with each Independent Designer is a personal contract with Origami Owl® and may only be transferred at the approval of the Company.

ARE TAXES DEDUCTED FROM MY COMMISSION CHECKS?


Each and every Independent Designer is considered an independent contractor. Because of this structure it is the responsibility of the Independent Designer to pay his or her Social Security tax and any other applicable taxes. Origami Owl does not deduct any taxes from an Independent Designers commission checks. Each year, Origami Owl will issue a form (IRS Form 1099) to each Independent Designer for the prior year's earnings, provided they have earned at least $600.00 U.S. dollars (the lowest amount in annual compensation that must be reported to the IRS) in; incentives, override commissions, including trip incentives and other reportable earnings.
