Some tips of Event Etiquette
- Be accurate on your application you want to make sure to list what your products truly are. Leave nothing off.
- No smoking in your booth
- No using bad language.
- Arrive on time-- Make sure to not start breaking down until the event is over. Usually they talk about this in the application/contract you signed.
- Use clean linens and display pieces.
- Stand at the front of your booth--Greet customers
- Be polite and courteous to the event coordinator{s}
- Be friendly with the vendors around you
- Do not bad mouth other vendors that looks unprofessional and it is not classy
- Dress Professional-- Business Casual, Nice slacks, nice jeans or shorts (NO Holes in them), No faded clothes, No tank tops. I {love} wearing Company branded shirts
- If you are doing a small event ask if they allow exclusivity. That means they only allow one of each type of company no duplicates. Example no two candle companies, handbag companies, locket companies, etc.
- Be Sure to clean up after yourself. Leave the space cleaner than you found it.
